UFC 86: Jackson vs Griffin Results:

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC )  Jackson Vs Griffin was going to be a historic night of mixed martial arts. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was going to defend his title against Forrest Griffin. Even though Quinton Jackson was the heavy favourite, Forrest Griffin displayed an awesome performance to become the new Light-Heavyweight Champion.

The main event was being predicted to be a quick knockout, however it went all the five round with Forrest winning by a unanimous decision. Here are the results for UFC 86.

Overall this was a decent event, howver there were numerous boring fights. The fight between Ricardo Almeida did not live up o the hype and both fighters failed to dominate convincingly. The fight between Tyson Griffin and Marcus Aerilio was fairly entertaining. The best fight of the night has to go to the main event where both Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin put on a great performance for the crowd.

This fight has shaken up the Light-Heavyweight division, wich will probably lead to some intriguing match-ups. The next UFC is on July the 19th with the main event between James Irwin and Anderson Silva.
