Affliction "Banned" Salaries The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) realeased information about the salaries give to the fighters. The highest paid fighter of the Affliction MMA fighter was not Fedor Emelianenko, but surprisingly Tim Sylvia. These figures have to be released due to legality. Affliction MMA salaries Even though mma fighters do not have unions, their earning are by law made available for public record in the United States of America. Any information about bonuses that a promoter also pays its fighters. However there is no law that the fighters have to dislose bonused such as PPV bonuses or fight of the night bonuses. Therefore these figures are not in the fighter salaries below.
These fighters salaries are very interesting as they far supersed what the UFC are paying their fighters. This could set a trend for fighter deanding more for their services. In addition, the Affiction MMA event has raised fighter sallery expectations. It would be no surprise that fighter may leave their organizations, to fight in Affliction simply because the pay is far better.
