Anderson Silva Talks Forrest Griffin and Vitor Belfort

Quite possibly one of the greatest mma fighters of all time, the current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has sparked huge interest with his up comming fight with the UFC poster boy Forrest Griffin. This will be Silva's second time, that he has moved up a weight to challenge a fighter in the Light Heavyweight Division. Adding to this interest has been the mention of a possible fight with Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort by the president of the UFC , Mr Dana White.

Anderson Silva has been speaking to a Brazilian news team where he reflects on his up comming fight with Forrest Griffin and his possible future fight with Vitor Belfort.

When asked how his training is going he stated  ""I'm still just light training, but I'm training. I'm in Curitiba, doing my adaptation training and taking it slow." He went on to discuss the possible match up with Belfort "I'm not worried about it. Right now I'm just thinking about my fight with Forrest.".

Anderson "The Spider" Silva has been the most dominant champion in the middleweight division in UFC history. A fight with Belfort, who currently is blasting his way through the competition since he dropped down from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight, makes this a very interesting proposition. As such this makes for possibly a very exciting fight. The main reason being that Belfort has the skills that can match "The Spider".

Silva will be looking to keep his focus on Forrest Griffin who he will be facing at the UFC 101 event which is held in Philadelphia. Lets hope that Belfort makes the transition from Affliction to the UFC, as this will almost definitely have the mma fans excited.
