Carlos Condit

Carlos Condit at 23 years of age has a very impressive career that can be turned from good to great. He currently holds the world welterweight championship in World Extreme Cage fighting. This mixed martial arts pro is also known as the "Natural born Killer" this is mare to do with his styles and power while fighting rather than his looks or attitude. Carlos Condit at a very raw age has achieved great amount of success and more is sure to follow. His inspiration behind him getting involved in the sport and taking it as a career was his liking towards the UFC arena, the fights, fighters and the number of people cheering always fantasized him. Carlos also served various other professions before getting into the fighting mode. He was one of the bouncers at the club and also served as a lifeguard for nearly 2 years.

Condit began in mixed martial arts career when he participated against Nick Roscoria in his debut encounter and was able to make him submit to a rear naked choke. This was followed by a continuous victory period from 2002 to 2004, for nearly a couple of years and more than half a dozen matches. After his wonderful success in the beginning he finally tasted defeat when he lost to Carlos Prater when he submitted to a wonderful executed triangle choke. Condit again came back very strong to win several number of matches. This time his winning streak did not last that long and Condit lost to Satoru Kitaoka submitting to a heel hook. After this Condit some how regained his confidence and composure before they were blasted over. After some good performance Condit suffered a double blow when he lost back to back against Jake Shields and Pat Healy.

This had seriously affected his moral and Carlos had to reinvent himself incase he had to consistently feature in the best fighters club. He continued participating in various events to compete with superstars from across the world until he found himself a place in the World Extreme Cage fighting event. He made his WEC debut in January 2007 and has played 3 matches since then; this allows him to continue with his 100% victory record. Looking at a highly inspirational career we can easily notice that his wins are against the toughest of opponents. Even recently after he joined WEC Condit has been fighting and producing results that he has been working for. His last bout was held against Brock Larson in August 2007, Condit managed to keep away Brock's strike and was able to capitalize on a submission move which ultimately led to the victory of Condit. He has been highly successful in retaining the championship gold to himself.

Carlos' over all career record for mixed martial arts has been absolutely terrific, he has registered 21 wins to just 4 losses. At a very young age Condit has been given a chance to develop his skills and prove his potential at the highest level of professional fighting.
