Chris Lytle
Chris Scott Lytle or Chris Lytle is popularly known as "Lights Out" among his fans. This American mixed martial arts fighter was born on 18 August, 1974 (Indianapolis), Indiana. His fighting tactic is boxing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu style. Chris Lytle is a boxer and also a participant of the" The Ultimate Fighting Championship". He worked as a personal trainer before joining the fighting world. He went to the Indiana University from 1993 -1998 and got a degree in Sports management. He is the one and the only one Cage Rage World Welterweight champion. Chris Lytle was particularly noticeable on the Ultimate Fighter 4 known as "The Comeback". After he completed his graduation he became more interested in mixed martial arts. In 1998 Chris Lytle began training in fighting and said that it is" something to keep him active". He earned name and fame in the fighting world when he got the title like the Hook and Shoot and also the promotion in the "Absolute Fighting Championship". His favorite fighting tactics are the punches and his favorite grappling techniques are the chokes. Chris Lytle preferred fighting tactic is the headlock, citing his ability as a factor in enabling him to execute choke submissions. Chris Lytle's fighting career started in 1998, which began as a training in mixed martial arts. This 175lb Chris has a very positive attitude towards his fights and says that he will win some more boxing championships." Chris Lytle had an entry on The Ultimate Fighter 4 welterweight championship after defeating Pete Spratt and Din Thomas. On November 11th at the Ultimate Fighter 4 finals Chris Lytle was defeated by Matt Serra by a split decision. It was a close match even as the fans were wondering who will take the Belt away. On March 3rd at UFC 68 in Colombo, Ohio he lost the match against UFC previous welterweight champion Matt Hughes by unanimous decision. On 17 November, 2007 he lost the match against Thiago Alves. Chris Lytle fought a match at UFC 73 against Jassom Gilliam and won the match. On 11 August, 2007 Chris Lytle defeated Matt Brown in The United Fight League Show in Indianapolis, Indiana by using his fighting tactic of guillotine choke. Chris Lytle did his graduation from Southport High School (1993). He was an active member of the school wrestling team. Even today Chris Lytle takes part in workouts at The Southport High School with the wrestling team and coach Petty. He is happily married to Kristin and has four children, Keegan, Kaylin, Corrine and Jake. When he is not fighting he works as a fireman at the Warren Township Fire Department. Chris Lytle began his fighting career in fun. He got to know about fighting through his friends and later joined it to have fun, but he got into it and made it his profession. He feels that he is at the top of the MMA career and has been very successful. Chris Lytle is grateful to his fans who have given him support. Each day he trains harder to reach to the top position in UFC and it means a lot to him. |
