Eddie Alvarez is an American Mixed Martial Arts Fighter and was born on January 11, 1984 in Kensington. He is a former Bodog FIGHT welterweight champion. He was known for violent crime and an abundance of street narcotics. His famous win came against Norwegian Joaschim Hansen at DREAM 3. He follows freestyle fighting and he is associated with Fight factory. Eddie Alvarez was famous in the streets of Kensington. Eddie Alvarez was not well built but Inspite of this he was famous because of his fighting spirit and heavy hands. Eddie Alvarez was known for his boxing talent. The famous Japanese PRIDE fighting championship signed him to fight in their 154 pounds grand prix. He won the first fight by TKO against DIDA. He won his second fight against Joachim Hansen by unanimous decision. He has a record of 14 wins of which most are by knockouts and he has lost only once. Eddie Alvarez experienced a very tough life as a street fighter. He used all his cash rewards, which he had won in his fights to take his family out of the streets of Kensington to Northeast Philadelphia after the birth of his son. His son's name is Eddie jr. Eddie Alvarez faced a rough side of life in the streets of Kensington and he never wanted that his son should go through the same. Eddie Alvarez inspires others.
