Matt Lindland versus Fedor Emelianenko was a very intriguing match up. This fight was organised by Bodog Fights. The fight was unusual becouse Matt Lindland usually fights at middleweight, and as such he moved up two weight catogries to face the highly regarded Fedor Emelianenko. Even though no one gave a chance for Matt Lindland to win, he put a brave performance. He also caused a huge cut above Fedors eye.  Despite the lenght of the fight, the fight was one of the most exiting of Fedors career.
