Gray Maynard or Bradley Gray Maynard was born on 9 May, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This 29 year old, proficient American mixed martial arts fighter is also a dilettante wrestler and is popularly known as "The Bully" among his fans, Gray Maynard is associated with Xtreme Couture. His fighting style is wrestling. He completed his schooling in St. Edward High School, (Lakewood), and Ohio. Gray Maynard outshined in its national league program. He wrestled with current light heavyweight championship Rashad Evans. In MSU history Gray Maynard had 11^th rank all time and in his career he had106 wins and 26 falls. In 2004 Gray Maynard couldn't earn a place in the Olympic wrestling team U.S, and opted for a retirement when Penn the present lightweight UFC champion considered him to be a useful partner. Gray Maynard got interested in this sport and wanted to compete against various opponents, later he trained as a disciple hold a partnership in UFC with the Hall of Famer Randy Couture, who has a booming career in dilettante wrestling. Gray Maynard was into Real Estate for Randy Aleman and later wanted to join MMA and made it as a career.  

In The Ultimate Fighter 5 Gray Maynard was a participant, which only featured lightweights. Later Gray Maynard was selected as a useful candidate by Penn and later made into finals. In the "The Ultimate Fighter 5 "Gray Maynard won the first round against Wayne Weems. He fought the quarterfinals against Brandon Melendez and later won the match by guillotine choke, but was defeated in the   semifinals fought against Nathan Diaz again by a guillotine choke. Gray Maynard fought a very controversial match against one of the opponent named Rob Emerson in The Ultimate Fighter 5 last match. This match came out to be a "No Contest "match. At UFC Fight Night 11 he made a history by knocking down Joe Veres in a time period of nine seconds. Recently, he fought against one of the UFC opponent Frankie Edgar and won the match, 30-27 majority call on all cards .Gray Maynard used his proficient wrestling skills and won the decision. At present Gray Maynard is a practioner at Forrest Griffin's coaches in theThe Ultimate Fighter: (Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest).

Gray Maynard didn't have an easy life growing up. He got his nickname "The Bully" because of his bull terrier, Hank. The name struck because of Gray's work ethic and aggressiveness in the practice room and competition. Apart from wrestling Gray Maynard is a family man. He is happily married and has three children. Whenever he is not fighting he likes to spend some quality time with his children's. He has a very vague idea what his kids would become when they will grow up, but he would be really glad if they follow his footsteps.

Gray Maynard believes that life has given him a great opportunity, by being a part of the UFC.He wants to be the best in the world and UFC is where he will prove it. He is very focused towards his aim and he fights with confidence.
