Josh Barnett

Josh Barnett also known as the Baby Faced Assassin is a professional wrestler. Born on October 11, 1977, he has come a long way in the professional wrestling circuit. He is the proud holder of probably one of the best win-loss ratio of all times(40-5).His preferred style of wrestling is Pro Wrestling. He currently is the holder of the title - King of Pancrase.

He defeated Randy Couture, when he was just 24 years old, to grab his first major achievement, the UFC championship of World Heavy Weight. He became the youngest fighter of the UFC heavy weight champion of all times. After gaining victory over Yuki Kondo on the 31st of August 2003, he became the 10th King of Pancrase. Josh Barnett has, since then, held this title twice and is the proud holder of the title. He wrestled for the New Japan Pro wrestling (2003-2006) and he became one of the top stars of the Japanese Pro Wrestling market. During his career, he has won a lot of matches.

The Best Foreign Wrestler and Rookie of the Year were some of the tags Josh Barnett received upon his onset on the wrestling scenario. He was also voted as the foreign MVP for the year of 2003. Be it K-1, UFC, PRIDE, Pancrase; he has undertaken all the major fighting championships. He currently fights in the Pride fighting circuit and is regarded as famous fighters of the world. He was named (Most Valuable Player) MVP of the 2006 season of FC PRIDE and was also the runner up in the FC Open weight championship in 2006.

He won the Super Brawl (13 super heavy weight tournament) which contained various wrestlers who were stars to be in the very near future, Bobby Hoffman, John Marsh and Ricco Rodriguez to name a few.

Despite being a fighter of the highest stature, Josh Barnett has also trained various fighters at the top level some of them are now superstars in their own right. Some of his students were Bob Sapp (the Superstar of K-1), Jeff Monson (Abu Dhabi champion and UFC fighter) and many more wrestlers both male and female. Josh Barnett regularly appears on various TV shows and magazines.

The Baby faced assassin has thus indeed come a long way from being baby faced to the ruthless wrestler that we know him to be today. He has been an immense source of inspiration to various people throughout his life and will, for sure, find a place in the Wrestling Hall of Fame.
