In one of the most anticipated fights of the year Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins takes on Kelly "Ghost" Pavlick. The fight is destined to be intriguing to boxing fans it this fight typifies a heavy puncher with a tactician. Hopkins being the tactician and Pavlick being the puncher.

Bernard Hopkins currently has a record of 48 wins 5 losses and one draw. He has 32 knockouts. Kelly Pavlick on the other hand has a record of 34 wins with 0 losses. He has a staggering 30 knockouts. Both fighters will be fighting for the title to cement their position as the dominant fighter in their division.

Kelly Pavlik has become one of the most popular boxers in 2007 and the Youngstown, Ohio native has not slowed down the pace in 2008. The fight with Bernard Hopkins will mark his third fight of the year and the third time in his pro career that he is headlining a bout at the venerable Atlantic City venue.
