Kimbo Slice

Kevin Ferguson is popularly known as Kimbo Slice amongst his fans. He was born in Nassau, Bahamas on February 8, 1974. He is mixed martial arts fighter based in Miami. He made his first appearance in underground-filmed street fighting which has spread primarily on the Internet. Since then he has left street fighting and he is putting his efforts towards becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter. In Miami Palmetto High School he was a star and played in a defensive manner. He went to college for one and a half years and did not play football then. He worked as a bodyguard for RK Net media, which was a pornography production, company having adult subscription websites such as MILF Hunter. Kimbo Slice has maintained close relations with this company as we can see a group of persons from this company body guarding him during his fights

Kimbo Slice started his career in unsanctioned street fighting. He got into the MMA spotlight as his popular street fight with Sean Gannon spread through the Internet. Although he lost the match, he gained a reputation in MMA as a tough fighter. Retired MMA fighter Bas Ruttan trained Kimbo Slice. He fought his first sanctioned debutant MMA match on June 23, 2007 at the Cage Fury Championship 5 against heavyweight champion Ray Mercer. Kimbo Slice defeated Ray Mercer by a Guillotine Choke. During the match he challenged David" Tank" Abbot, one of the spectators who accepted his challenge. He made his official ProElite on October 11, 2007 and won by submission due to strikes.

On February 16, 2008 Kimbo Slice fought Tank Abbott in the main event and won by KO 43 seconds due to strikes. On May 31, 2008 fought in the main event in EliteXC against Bo Centrall and won the match but he got into a controversy as he fought the match in an aggressive manner, which led to a referee stoppage. He also won the match in EliteXC primetime against James Thompson. Kimbo Slice will be featured on The Iron Ring which is a new television series being aired on BET which shows some of the MMA prospects. He will also be a part of the selection process. He has a professional MMA record of 3 wins from all the number of matches he has played. 

Outside the fighting world, Kimbo Slice is happily engaged to his long time love, Antionette. He currently lives with his family in Miami, and is the soft-spoken father of six children: three girls and three boys. His first two sons are named Kevin, and the third is named Kevlar. His three daughters are named Kassandra, Kiara and Kevina.
