Randy Couture vs Tsuyoshi Kohsaka

After winning three consecutive fights against high caliber opponents Randy “The Natural” Couture faced Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. Despite being the heavy favourite, this was a very tough fight. The main reason for the difficulty of this fight was that Kohsaka was a world class grappler and nuterlised a lot of Randy’s attacks. Tsuyoshi Kohsaka was also a well reconised and experienced mma fighter.

The fight went the distance and Randy Couture won the fight via a unanimous decision. The event was called RINGS: King of Kings 2000 and they fought in the Final. The fight was held in Tokyo, Japan in Febuary 24th 2001.
