Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao Fight video

If there ever was a fight that was going to excite boxing fans, then on Saturday Night this is it. Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton the current Light Welterweght Champion will face the pound for pound best fighter in the world Manny Pacquiao. This fight will determine whether Hatton will become the next pound for pound best boxer in the world or if Pacquiao will continue to reign supreme.

In his recent superfight Manny "The Pac-Man" Pacquiao looked awsome against the bigger fighter in Oscar de la Hoya. However one must not read to much into this, becouse Ricky Hatton is much younger and quicker fighter than Oscar Dela Hoya was on that night. Event though Hatton struggled against the speed of Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao isn't nearly as quick. In addition to the afformentioned, Hatton also had to move up a weight to face Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The winner of this fight will be the one who can best impose his game plan. Pacquiao will need to use his speed and "pot shot" Hatton. Whereas Hatton would need to utilise his jab and work in close.

We predict that this fight will be won by Hatton in the later rounds Via a stoppage. But we could be wrong as this fight is very evenly matched, despite the bookies favouring Manny.
