Wanderlei Silva speaks about rematch with  Vitor Belfort 

One of the most feared striker and aggresssive mma fighter of all time, Wanderlei Silva has respect amongst most mma fans. Prior to him being established as one of the best fighters of all time and fighting in Pride FC, Silva fought in the UFC. During the time in the UFC, he faced Vitor Belfort, who destroyed him in under a minute in what can only be described as a barage of punches.

In a recent interview with Sensei Sport TV, Wanderlei Silva, the former Pride FC champion talked about a possible re-match with Belfort. Silva stated that " "That sequence of punches... I don't know whether that was technique or anxiety. Many people told me he was dying of fear to face me so that must have been anxiety [that drove him]. Sooner or later [the rematch] is going to happen. I'm ready to face anyone, including him."

A rematch between these two fighters is very interesting proposition. However Belfort has revived himself in the middleweight division, where as Silva has lost 3 of his last four fights. Its the opinion of this author, that Belfort would win this match convincingly. A far better match up would be between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort.

Regardless of who is favourite, it would still be an interesting match up.
